WEEK 1 Monday 7th April - Gorge walking: A great fun adventure scrambling over waterfalls and swimming in the flow. Tuesday 8th April - Mountain biking: A day looking to give those keen to improve their cycling skills and develop confidence on more challenging terrain. Suitable for those who can confidently ride a bike but have never tried off road or singletrack riding. Wednesday 9th April - Introduction to Paddlesport activities will be weather dependant but may include kayaking, stand up paddle boards and Raftbuilding. Thursday 10th April – Rock climbing Intro to climbing on real rock, tried artificial climbing walls but always wanted to test your skills on a real cliff face, this day is for you. WEEK 2 Monday 14th April – Caving activities involving discovery and crawl through tunnels, tight spaces whilst facing some scrambling. There will also be an opportunity for some bushcraft survival skills within the top cave. We can provide bike & helmets to all participants however if preferable own helmet can be brought. How old do I need to be? The programme is for Primary 7 to Secondary year 6 pupils. What if I’m not sure about an activity?. Some activities involve going on a journey and so need 100% involvement so please do not book a place on this type of activity unless you are 100% confident in your ability to take part. What should I bring?. All technical equipment is provided such as wetsuits, bikes, helmets, harnesses, kayaks etc. Packing essentials for each activity include appropriate clothing for the activity and the weather on day, a complete change of clothes including footwear, a towel, a packed lunch and any medication that you my need for the day. For all water activity - please also bring an old pair of trainers & shorts. Where do I go on the day?. All activities will start 10am and finish 4pm at: King George V Pavilion Renfrew PA4 OAJ
