Over the school holidays we will be running two 3-day camps. Both weeks will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The activities will be Gorge walking (Tues), Scrambling (Wed) and Paddlesports (Thurs). You can book for all 3 days or just pick and choose the days you want to attend. All activities suitable for P7 to S6 pupils Gorge Walking 7th and 14th April 2026 This fun introductory gorge offers lots of fun climbs and waterfalls and is a good starting level for those new to the activity. Although most of the activity takes place in shallow water, there will be times when you will be in water that is chest deep. Please bring a packed lunch, we will give you a wetsuit to wear but you will need a change of underwear and socks and a towel also any medication that may be required on the day. (Please bring old trainers to wear in the gorge and a pair of shorts you can wear over your wetsuit) Scrambling + Bushcraft 8th and 15th April 2026 This offers a chance to explore the Succoth boulder field (it is kind of like over ground caving) with fun climbs and tight squeezes in the rocks above Arrochar. Participants will also learn some fire lighting and bushcraft skills in the caves. Please bring a packed lunch, a complete change of clothes (including a towel) and any medication that may be required on the day. Paddlesports 9th and 16th April 2026 This is a great fun and wet activity come and learn how to Kayak and Stand-up paddleboard. Play lots of games and learn new skills and most of all get very very wet. Participants need to be water confident and able to swim 25m. Please bring a packed lunch, we will give you a wetsuit to wear but you will need a change of underwear and socks and a towel and any medication that may be required on the day. FAQ How old do I need to be? The programme is for Primary 7 to Secondary year 6 pupils. What if Iām not sure about an activity?. Some activities involve going on a journey and so need 100% involvement so please do not book a place on this type of activity unless you are 100% confident in your ability to take part. What should I bring?. All technical equipment is provided such as wetsuits, bikes, helmets, harnesses, kayaks etc However, for or each activity you should bring appropriate clothing for the activity and the weather a complete change of clothes, including footwear, a towel, a packed lunch and any medication that you my need for the day. Where do I go on the day?. All activities will start 10am and finish 4pm at the King George V Pavilion Renfrew PA4 OAJ
